Herat farmer’s cauliflower and cabbage sell contract signed with a processing company

In coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture's Second National Priority Support Program (SNaPP2) and for marketing of farmers' products, an Agricultural contract was signed between Cauliflower and Cabbage producers with Gulnawaz Industrial Company. The signing ceremony of this contract was held at the Esqlal Hotel in Herat.
At the ceremony, 81 farmers producing of Cauliflower and cabbage covered by the Second National Priority Support Program from Injil, Guzara and Pashtun Zarghun districts of Herat province signed Agricultural contracts with that mentioned company.
The contracting farmers had previously agreed on contract issues with the processing companies in joint meetings organized by the Ministry of Agriculture's Second Priority Support Program.
Contracting farmers have already received Fertilizer, Modified seeds and technical advice from the Second Priority Support Program.
The purpose of these contracts is to create confidence for both parties to the contract, to increase the level of production, quality, market the products of the farmers, create jobs and thus, to increase the level of income of the farmers in the villages are the main purpose of the above mentioned signed contract.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Local officials of the Ministry of Agriculture's Second National Priority Support Program, Representatives of the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Partner agencies such as the Farmers' Chamber of Agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce and Agricultural services staff of the districts.
