The Minister of Agriculture arrive to Balkh Province

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock and his accompanied delegation arrived to Balkh province, to monitor, exploit, and lay the foundation of a number of projects, as well as to review and evaluate capacities and areas of work in agricultural sector.
Mohammad Farhad Azimi, governor, Mohammad Afzal Hadid, director of Balkh Provincial Council and a number of other local officials welcomed the Minister of Agriculture in Mawlana Jalaluddin Airport.
At the same time, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, also met Professor Atta Mohammad Noor, Executive Director of the Islamic Jamiat (Jamiat-e Islami) of Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL)is spending more than 580 million AFN this year to implement various projects in  agriculture, irrigation and livestock sectors in the center and districts of Balkh province, many of which are close to be completed in the end of the fiscal year.
 A number of these projects are supposed to be exploited by the Minister of Agriculture, including zero-energy cold storages of pomegranate, onion and potato warehouses.
