The campaign against Grasshopper begins in Kunduz

Plant protection experts from Kunduz Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock have launched a campaign against grasshopper in the province.
Grasshoppers are harmful and risky pest for Agriculture, if this pests aren’t controlled, it would cause severe economic damage to the agriculture and livestock sector.
The mentioned directorate said: “The campaign was launched in Dasht-Archi, Aqtash, Imam -Sahib and all locust areas, and will be implemented in coordination with Districts leaders, Agriculture in-charges and elders of this areas in more than tens of thousands of hectares of grassland.”
