A number of Honey and Cotton producers have contracted with two private companies to sell their products in Herat Province.

The contracts were signed as a result of cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock's Second National Priority Support Program(SNaPP2) for marketing for the sale of Agricultural products.

According to the contracts, 36 Cotton Growers in Zandijan, Injil and Guzara districts, as well as six leading Honey producers in Ghorian, Guzar, Injil, Zandijan and Karkh districts, submitted their products to Bast Heravi Industrial Company and Beekeeping Company. The main purpose of these contracts is to create confidence for both parties, to increase the level of Production, Quality, Marketing for farmers' products, increase job opportunities and raise the income level of Farmers and producers in Rural areas.
