Happy Peasant,s Festival and New Year to all our compatriots, especially to painstaking peasants

The Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL) has implemented various projects in agriculture, irrigation, livestock and natural resources sectors in 1399.
Luckily, with the implementation of irrigation projects, about 97,000 hectares of land have been irrigated, which in general has increased agricultural yields, and in particular, wheat and rice production has upgraded compared to other years.
At the same time, tens thousands of acres of gardens and more than 10,000 buildings were built, including zero-energy cold stores, onion and potato warehouses.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of snow and rain last winter, there is a possibility of a drought in 1400. The government is aware of this and plans to prevent further drought losses as much as possible.
The Ministry of Agriculture will pay more attention to the development of the horticulture, livestock and dairy sectors in 1400.
Our efforts will last in hope of Afghanistan achieving continued self-sufficiency.
