Commitment to bilateral cooperation in combating against corruption

Abdul Hadi Rafiei Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture met officials of Accountability and Transparency Program of General Attorney in his office.

The meeting was held after continuation of Afghanistan's Anti-Corruption Campaign for the Afghanistan's Accountability and Transparency Program.

The officials briefed the Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration, on how to implement the program and it's expected achievements.

They said, that cases related corruption should be reported to General Attorney of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and that General Attorny is obliged to take serious action in this regard.

On the other hand, Mr. Rafiei promised any kind of cooperation with this program.

He said that, He will not spare any kind of contribution in this field, because the people and the country feel the serious need to fight against corruption and they need to ensure transparency.

Mr. Rafiei continued that The main problem is fighting against corruption, which both as an individual and as a nation, we do not believe that we can eliminate corruption. we have to go through individual stories and turn to a National narrative when it comes to fighting against corruption.

He added that if we combat against corruption regularly, then we can turn it into a culture.
