9,000 acres of new Pistachio Orchards to be built in Badghis

Badghis Directorate of Agriculture announced the construction of 9,000 acres of pistachio orchards in Abkamari, Muqur, Qala-e-Naw, Bala- Murghab and Qades districts with the cooperation of forestry associations in the province.
The Directorate added, "Among the pistachio trees, the regiment is also cultivated and Reservoir buildings (terraces) are also being built to control rainwater."
The project and its implementation costs 24 million AFN, and with implementation of this project, one hundred thousand working days will be created.
