Badakhshan’s Pistachio Production Increased by 64 % Compared to Last Year
Pistachio Yields in Badakhshan have reached about 550 Metrics Tons this Year.
Last year, 200 Metrics Tons of Pistachios were harvested from Badakhshan.
Badakhshan Department of Agriculture has prevented the Cutting of Pistachio,
Established forest, conservation associations and educated the public.
The Market for Pistachio has also improved compared to previous Year.
