Hashmatullah Ghafouri and Governor of Kandahar Discuss Agricultural development, Horticulture and livestock, future plans and better utilization of projects

Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture MAIL, during his visit to Kandahar province, met Ruhollah Khanzadeh, Governor of the province. During the meeting, agricultural development, horticulture and livestock, future plans and better utilization of projects have been discussed by them.
During the meeting, the Governor of Kandahar spoke about the implementation of agricultural projects and appreciated the attention paid to agriculture and livestock sectors of Kandahar province. Mr. Khanzadeh said that a number of works have been carried out in agriculture, irrigation, horticulture and livestock sectors, but it is needed that the attention must be increased in these sectors for further development, so that more investment and unemployment are reduced in these sectors.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ghafouri, said that Kandahar is the country's largest producer of fruit and the ministry of agriculture MAIL is committed to providing comprehensive assistance to farmers and gardeners in the province.
Mr. Ghafouri further reminded that next year, in addition to the continuation of the agricultural product management project, a number of other projects will be implemented in Kandahar province and needed  attention will be paid to different sectors.
