Acting Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture talks with Representatives of USAID and the Department of Agriculture of US about standardization of Agricultural Products.

Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, spoke with representatives of the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, the US Department of Agriculture, USDA, and the CLDP via video conference on Afghanistan's Agricultural and Animal products standardization.
The Acting Minister of Agriculture, thanked the United States for its assistance to the agricultural sector and called for continued US cooperation, especially in the field of product standardization and to facilitate the increase of exports of Domestic products to international Markets.
In this video conference, representatives of various US Development Agencies pledged to further assist Afghanistan in capacity building, setting up a standard Laboratory, Paving the way for quality products and in accordance with WTO conditions.
They stressed that the standardization of animal and Agricultural products will pave the way for more exports at reasonable prices to International Markets.
