46,000 Saplings are ready to be Distributed in Panjshir

The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Panjshir province said that 46,000 fruitful seedlings have been prepared and will be distributed and planted for applicants of this province.
Mohammad Rauf Yaqoubi, director of agriculture of Panjshir said, "23 types of fruit seedlings have been prepared and will be distributed and planted to applicants in different parts of Panjshir from 15 May onwards.”
According to him these seedlings include almonds, cherries, apples, apricots, plums, walnuts, peaches and four nuts, and are distributed to the people for 35 to 50 AFN for a small fee. These seedlings will be planted this spring.
Panjshir is a mountainous province with a suitable climate for gardening.
