برای نخستینبار، یک فابریکه خصوصی تولیدکننده دانه مرغ، در ولایت فراه آغاز به کار کرد.
فابریکه خصوصی «گلستان فراه» با هزینه پنج میلیون دالر توسط یک تاجر به منظور تولید دانه مرغ در شهر صنعتی فراه ساخته شده است.
این فابریکه ۲۵ نفر کارگر دارد و در هرساعت، ۱۵ متریک تُن دانه مرغ تولید میکند.
