Livestock Boosts in Badghis Again

Livestock has once again boosted in Badghis province this year.

Livestock was hardly nit in the province due to the recent drought in the province.

According to the data collected by the provincial agriculture directorate, the number of cows has increased from 85,836 to 219,349 this year. The figure shows over two and a half times increase.

The number of sheep has also increased from 668,321 to 1,922,646 this year. The number of goats has also increased by 35 percent.

Promising precipitation and greening of pastures have helped livestock to once again boost in the province.
