‘Taghi Baghi’ Irrigation Network Reconstructed in Balkh

Saratan 22: July 13, 2019 The reconstruction of ‘Taghi Baghi’ irrigation network was completed in Dehdadi district of Balkh province. The network has been reconstructed by the On Farm Water Management Project (OFWMP) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL), costing a total of 19.6 million AFN. The network is six kilometers long, irrigating 1,350 acres of land. ‘Taghi Baghi’ irrigation network benefits 8,400 people.
