Construction of 31 Onion and Potato Warehouses completes in Takhar

Takhar Directorate of Agriculture said, “The construction of 25 onion and six potato warehouse have been completed in Khwaja Ghar and Baharak districts of the province.”
The Directorate added that 265 new agricultural projects have been launched through Agricultural product management program of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) at a cost of 157,269,140 AFN.
These projects include the construction of 150 onion warehouses, 100 potato warehouses and 15 fruit and vegetable cold storages in 14 districts of Takhar province.
Among these, the construction of 31 onion and potato warehouses has been completed and the construction of other warehouses and cold storages will be completed soon.
