47,000 Liters of Milk are processed and supplied daily in Herat

Milk processing companies in Herat province process about 47,000 Liters of processed Milk daily.
Officials from Herat's Agriculture Department say, that there are 50 large and small Milk processing companies across the province.
These companies produce and market Dairy products such as Milk, Yogurt, Leeks, Cheeses, Buttermilk, Cream and Ice cream.
These companies employ about 250 men and women on overage.
