MAIL Minister Meets with "JICA" Officials to Continue Japan's Support for Agricultural sector

The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock met with Zossing, in-charge of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and his colleagues to discuss Japan's continued support for Afghanistan's agricultural sector.
Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, while appreciating Japan's support for Afghanistan's agricultural sector, said that the country has provided very effective scholarships to Afghan students and trained highly trained staff, especially in agricultural sector. He also called for continued Japan’s support for the country's agricultural sector.
During the meeting, JICA officials said,” Japan will continue its activities in fields of education and scholarship, strategy and policy-making, support for private sector, support for quality products, and strengthening of infrastructure. They also called on the Minister of Agriculture to prepare a plan based on which Japan would continue to support the agricultural sector.”
