The online meeting on the role of the Private sector in Afghanistan was held after the Geneva Conference commitments by the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce AACC and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment ACCI with the participation and speech of Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, nominee and acting Minister of Agriculture.
This meeting was attended by Sayed Zaman Hashemi, Executive Chairman of the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Jeffrey Greco, Chairman of the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Heads and Representatives of other relevant Institutions.
The talks focused on improving Afghanistan's trade, investment and growth through the private sector, investment partnership opportunities for the Afghan private sector, as well as Q&A in these areas.
The meeting followed the completion of the Geneva Conference on Peace, Welfare and Self-Sufficiency of Afghanistan.
